The wicked gang of 5.

I want to give you all a short introduction to my cats.  I adore them, as many of my current friends and bloggers know.

Here we go:
Vladimir (2/07) – My first guy.  He’s a black yellow eyed short haired big boy.  He’s a social butterfly and loves greeting guests.  He’s the Alpha cat, except Oksana doesn’t think so.

Oksana (4/07) – I adopted her from my vets office to be a playmate to Vlad.  She looks just like him, black with yellow eyes, only she’s a small girl.  She’s very particular about when you pet her or when the others want to play.  It’s on HER terms.

Maksimilian (8/07) – I found him and his sister at a vet’s office in bad shape. Maks is an orange kitty with yellow/brownish eyes.  He’s extremely sweet and lovable and has a raspy meow, but he chirps most of the time.  He’s skittish and usually hides when company comes.

Kiska (8/07) – She’s Maks’ sister.  She’s what is called a Torbie w/white with yellow/brownish eyes.  Which means she’s her coloring is a mix of tabby and tortie from what I understand and she’s got white patches.  She’s a sweet little kitty and is the smallest of my gang.  Very vocal.  She’ll tell you when she’s not pleased.

Czarina ((2004/2005?)- This girl was a stray Tortie with yellow/seafoam colored eyes, that lived in the apartment complex I live in. When I moved in in 2007 I saw her and started feeding her.  She’d been a stray for about 3 years and I just fell in love with her. I started taking her to the vet and tried to bring her indoors.  It didn’t work and she got away from me.  A few months later I tried again but was better prepared.  My vet suggested giving her Prozac to relieve some stress during the integration, and it seems to have worked.  I kept her apart from the others for about 4 months, but they were all able to see each other.  In September I was able to let her be with the others and now she’s one of the gang.  She’s doesn’t really like being picked up, and there are certain things I can’t do to her that I can do to the others, but I think that’s part of being a stray for so long and her Tortitude.  She’s the oldest at about 3 or 4 right now.
